About This Document This document explains the configuration and administration of the SpectraLink 6020 Wireless Telephone (the handset) using the Handset Administration Tool, a software utility developed by Polycom for this purpose. SpectraLink 6020 Wireless Telephones are supported on SpectraLink 6000 Systems (WTS) using the SpectraLink 6100 Master Control Unit (MCU) or the SpectraLink 6300 MCU. 1 Configuration Overview Configuration of the SpectraLink 6020 Wireless Telephone requires several preliminary steps. The MCU must be programmed for system feature activation as detailed in SpectraLink 6100 MCU: Installation and Operation or SpectraLink 6300 MCU: Operator’s Console, depending on which type of system is installed in the facility.
