Two light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the PC ports and LAN/Power jack indi- cate link status and the speed of the connections. FINDING YOUR WAY Optional USB Devices You can connect a standard USB device to your Model 8690 endpoint using a stan- dard USB cable (not included) connected to the USB host port on the back of the end- point (see page 4). The operating system will automatically detect the device when the endpoint is powered on.
