GENERAL OPERATION INTRODUCTION The FORD PATS systems were introduced on Ford vehicles on 94.5 M.Y. vehicles , and was available from March 1994. There have been many variations on the original system fitted. This system has a separate PATS Amplifier, however on subsequent 9 systems the PATS module was incorporated into the Engine Management ECU. GENERAL OPERATION KEY OPERATION - 98¼ MY ONWARDS The newer systems are only supplied with 2 keys. Both keys are required to program further slave keys. Up to a maximum of 8 keys can be programmed to this PATS system. KEY PROGRAMMING - UP TO 98 ¼ MY 9 NOTE : Clear ALL Fault codes before programming.
