4. Dipswitch Settings After removing the radio from the vehicle, identify the manufacturer of the radio. Two companies make the radios featured in these VW vehicles. If the model number sticker is on the side of the radio it is a Delphi brand radio. If the model number sticker is on the top of the radio it is a Panasonic brand radio. Carefully run the 11 foot iPod cable behind the dash to the location where the iPod will be mounted or stored (for example; the glove box or center console).
