5. INSTALL TRANSITION TRANSITION Attach transition (provided) to top of hood. Use duct tape to make all joints secure and airtight. DUCT TAPE OUTSIDE TOP OF HOOD HD0057 6. INSTALL THE HOOD INSIDE TOP OF HOOD Lift hood up and onto wood strip. Attatch transition to 10” round duct. Center hood over location and hold it up against bottom of soffit or flue. 12. USE AND CARE ! WARNING Before servicing or cleaning the unit, switch power off at service panel and lock service panel to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. Grease rail and baffle filters.
