NTI XTENDEX Extenders INTRODUCTION The XTENDEX Series CAT5 Extender (XTENDEX) is designed to enable one CPU to be controlled by two users, one local and one remote. Extended components may include a standard monitor (or touchscreen monitor when RS232 is supported), PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, microphone, and speakers, The remote user can be located as much as 1000 feet away from a PS/2 CPU via Category 5/5e/6 unshielded twisted-pair cable.
