INGLENOOK FIREPLACE OPERATION FUEL The Inglenook should be fueled with seasoned cordwood. Hardwoods will provide more energy per pound of wood consumed because of its superior density when compared to softwood. As is standard practice with hi-tech high efficiency fireplaces, the Inglenook combustion air damper controls all air entering the firebox.
