GENERAL DESCRIPTION Print Technology The VIPER LS6 prints labels using thermal transfer printing technology. The print head melts ink contained on a thin web of ribbon material allowing the ink to transfer to the label material. The print head operates at a resolution of 203 dots per inch (dpi). BATTERY INFORMATION A 12 volt NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery comes with the VIPER LS6 printer. The battery is PARTIALLY CHARGED. Panduit recommends charging the battery for 15 HOURS PRIOR TO USE.
