Remove all shipping tape from the top and bottom of the scanner. 2. Open the ADF cover and carefully remove any foam particles that may have gotten inside the Automatic Document Feeder. Unlocked position NOTE: The locking tab protects the scanner’s scan head by holding it securely in position.
