Getting Started Inserting the Batteries The factory has left the cover in position but not locked in place, to allow easier battery loading. Therefore simply push forward & lift up at the narrow end. Additional Scanning Tips What you scan is what you get. The DocuPen™ is sensitive to changes in direction and scan speed and records every movement you make. The more uniform your scan swipe, the better your scanned image results. This may take a little practice at first. Your entire scan swipe motion must be sooth and uniform.
