Changing Interfaces To change a scanner's interface… Hardware If necessary, replace the scanner's interface cable to match the new host terminal's connection requirements. To disconnect the cable from the scanner, insert a .050” hex driver or bent paper clip into the CABLE RE- LEASE hole, and press down to unlock the cable connector. Reference Figure 1.
