Installation 16510XX1 only: Place the pull rod assem- bly in the center hole of the mounting surface. Thread the friction washer, metal washer and mounting nut to the shank. Tighten the mounting nut by hand. Tighten the tensioning screws. 16803XX1 & 16510XX1: Place the fau- cet assembly in the two valve holes. 3

Thread the friction washers, metal washers and mounting nuts to the valve shanks. Tighten the mounting nuts by hand. Tighten the tensioning screws. Install the spout, slide bushing and o-ring. Make sure that the slide bushing is oriented correctly. Tighten the set screw. Lightly coat the handle o-rings with the en- closed lubricant. Turn on the water and check all connections for leaks.
