Installation If the thickness of the mounting surface is between 1 5/8“ and 3“ thick, install the shank extension to the faucet first. Place the faucet and sealing ring on top of the mounting surface. From beneath the mounting surface, install the plastic mounting spacer (if the mounting surface is 5/8“ thick or less), fiber washer, metal washer, and mounting nut. Tighten the tensioning screws.
