Microphone Placement Place the MX690 within 1.5 m (5 ft.) of a talker. Aim the microphone toward the talkers and away from loudspeakers and noise sources. Use one microphone for every two talkers. Locking Settings Press ON/OFF PROGRAM and SELECT simultaneously to lock or unlock transmitter settings. When locked, the current settings cannot be manually changed.
