For the best performance and longest life, we recommend an alkaline battery, such as Ra- dioShack Cat. No. 23-553. Caution: Use only a fresh battery of the required size and recommended type. 1. You can place them on a desk or shelf, or mount them on a wall. Plug the connector on one end of the supplied 66- foot-long cable into the remote station’s jack. Plug the connector on the other end of the cable into the master station’s jack. 6

Simply position the cable between the prongs of each staple you need, then gently tap the staple with a hammer until the staple’s gray coating touches the wall. • To install the stations farther than 66 feet apart, you can make a connecting cable of 22 gauge 1 wire (Cat. Then press PUSH TO TALK. To talk from the master station, rotate VOLUME to the left until it clicks, then hold down PUSH TO TALK and speak in a normal voice. Release PUSH TO TALK to hear the response. Rotate VOLUME to the left or right to increase or decrease the listening lev- el.
