SYSTEM OVERVIEW Fire Protection The fire protection portion of your security system (if used) is always on and will sound an alarm if a fire condition is detected. Refer to the FIRE ALARM SYSTEM section for important information concerning fire protection, smoke detectors and planning emer- gency exit routes from your house. ABOUT THE KEYPADS General Your keypad(s) (see page 7) allow you to control all system functions. The keypads feature a telephone style (digital) keypad and a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which shows the nature and location of all occurrences.
