Installing or removing battery cartridge NOTE : Before operation, charge the battery cartridge with Makita 9.6V Fast charger. To insert the battery cartridge, pull out the set plate, align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groove in the flashlight handle and slip it into place. Snap the set plate back into place.
