Chapter 2 2 Preparations & Installation Installing and Configuring DVR-400 STEP1: Please power off the DVR-400 and unlock the DVR-400 swappable HDD tray STEP2: Remove the harddisk tray cover; connect your harddisk securely with the DC power cable and IDE cable in the harddisk tray. Make sure the installed HDD is set to “Master” and secure the HDD using the original HD screws or the screws in the DVR-400 accessory pack. Place and lock the HDD tray to DVR-400.
