Handling Cautions Camera Care and Storage • The camera is a precision instrument. Do not drop it or subject it to physical shock. • The camera is not waterproof and should not be used in wet conditions or underwater. Installing the Batteries ∗ In the Americas, batteries are not included with the camera. The camera uses two lithium CR123A (or DL123A) batteries. Open the battery compartment 1 cover. 2 Slide the release lever as shown by • the arrow and open the cover. 1 Install the batteries. + 2 Make sure the battery contacts (+ • and –) are properly oriented as shown.
