8 Loading the Battery To load the battery into the camera: 1. Position the camera with the lens facing you and open the battery / SD card compartment by pressing the cover and sliding it towards you. The cover door will snap open. 2. Turn the battery so that the label is facing to the right and the three gold contacts on the battery are positioned upwards and to the rear of the camera.
