INSTALLATION EASY SET UP • Use the coiled cord to connect the receiver to the base or console. • Use the flat cord to connect the phone base to the wall jack. • Open the battery cover (on the bottom of the phone base) and install 4 “AA” batteries (not included). Note: Without batteries the phone will still dial and receive calls. However, the memory functions will not operate. OPERATION MAKING CALLS 1. Select the desired dialing mode with the Tone/Pulse selector. (Do this only once.) 2. Pick up the handset and listen for a dial tone. 3. Dial your call. RECEIVING CALLS When the phone rings: 1. Lift the receiver and speak into the mouthpiece. 2. Hang up the receiver to release the telephone line when the conversation is completed. USING THE SPEAKERPHONE Press the SPEAKER button. The IN USE indicator will light. This indicates that the unit is ready for use
