MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING CHARCOAL FILTERS (2) In the recirulation mode the activated charcoal filters absorb smells and unwanted odours. The charcoal filters cannot be cleaned or regenerated and must be replaced every four months, or more frequently if the hood is used consistently over 4 hours per day.
