2.0 Scope ® ® This manual describes Seagate Technology LLC, Savvio 10K.5 FC (Fibre Channel) disk drives. Savvio 10K.5 FC drives support the Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop and SCSI Fibre Channel Protocol specifica- tions to the extent described in this manual. 3.0 Applicable standards and reference documentation The drives documented in this manual have been developed as system peripherals to the highest standards of design and construction. 5.5 Cache operation Note. Refer to the Fibre Channel Interface Manual for more detail concerning the cache bits.
