2.8 Power specifications The drive receives DC power (+5V or +12V) through a native SATA power connector. Actual drive case temperature should not exceed 69°C (156°F) within the operating ambient conditions. 2.12 Reliability 2.12.1 Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) The product shall achieve an Annualized Failure Rate (AFR) of 0.34% (MTBF of 0.7 million hours) when oper- ated in an environment of ambient air temperatures of 25°C.
