7 Chapter 2: Installing the Communicator Package The Communicator software package is delivered as an Avalanche package. To obtain the package, download it from the Wavelink Web site or contact Wavelink Customer Service. The Communicator package must be installed to an Avalanche Console through a software profile before if can be configured or deployed to your mobile devices. You can add the package to an existing software profile or create a new profile. There are two methods you can use

15 Chapter 3: Activating Communicator Licenses After you install the Communicator package, you must license it with a valid license code. This code uses a technique called nodelocking, in which Avalanche MC is licensed only for a specific computer, or node, on your network.
