1 OPENING PREPARATION D . Use pliers to r emove the 2” section(s) of fr ame. 1D E. S tar ting in the 2” fr ame notch, use a reciprocating saw to cut the frame legs flush with the drywall. Do not cut through the frame exposing the rough opening. Do not damage 1E the drywall where it will remain exposed after the new window is in place. 3 SETTING AND FASTENING THE WINDOW A. Test fit the window in the opening from the exterior.
