ATTACHING THE CHUTE ASSEMBLY (Hardware C) Place chute assembly over chute opening, with the Carriage opening in the chute assembly facing the front of the Bolts unit. 3. Start threading the ferrule onto the other end of the shift rod. Push down on the shift rod (and shift arm assembly) as far as it will go. 4. It is not recommended that you operate this snow thrower on gravel as loose gravel can be easily picked up and thrown by the auger causing an injury or damage to the snow thrower.
