Operations Choosing Playback Mode or Record Mode When you first turn on the CDR-1000 PRO, it will be in Playback Mode. Before you can begin recording, it must be in Record Mode. Operations cont. Finalizing a Disc After you have finished recording onto a disc, you will need to FINALIZE it so that it will be compatible with standard disc players. If a disc has not been finalized, it can only be played back in the CDR-1000 PRO. NOTE: The CDR-1000 PRO must be in Playback Mode in order to finalize a disc. Make sure it is not in Record Mode. Try re-recording and adjust the recording volume so that the bars on the Input Volume meter stay around the middle.
