The freezer compartment Freezing fresh food When starting up the appliance for the first time or after a period of non use, position the thermostat to a medium setting (3 or 4) and leave for at least 4 hours before placing the food to be frozen inside. If you wish to fast-freeze a quantity of fresh food, press the ambient switch (light on) located near the thermostat knob.
