MANUALLY OVERRIDING YOUR SYSTEM: USING THE VALET SWITCH MANUAL OVERRIDE Your Security System can be disarmed without the use of the keychain transmitter. This is necessary, since you will need the ability to operate your vehicle if the transmitter is lost or its battery fails. When the vehicle is armed, and the vibration sensor input is active, the transmitter will chirp 3 times, the lights will flash, and then the dis- play will flash as shown. Parking Meter Counter: The transmitter has a built in clock that can count down from 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. This feature is useful when parking the vehicle in a metered parking lot.
