Introduction 1 Notational Conventions The conventions in this User’s Guide are as follows. Used in the stand-alone mode, this instrument is referred to as ‘402 Dilutor-Dispenser’ or simply 402. Specific keys to press on the Gilson Keypad are represented in bold capitals, for example: ‘key in the value and press ENTER’; where ENTER is a key on the keypad. Overview Introduction 1 Overview The 402 Dilutor-Dispenser, is used to transfer liquids between vials according to user defined protocols (Methods). You program the 402 Dilutor-Dispenser via the keypad, which includes an LCD screen, for communication purposes. You may store a total of 99 linkable Methods using the keypad.
