We recommend alkaline batteries, such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-552. 1. Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow until it stops, then lift up on the cover’s outer edge. To remove the belt clip, press down on the arrow and slide the clip in the direction of the arrow.
