Recharging the Nickel-Cadmium Battery Pack Note: Before charging, be sure that the power (ON/OFF Volume control) is turned OFF. Recharge the Ni-Cd Battery ONL Y when the unit indicates a LOW BA TTERY condition. OPERATION RECEIVE 1. Turn the radio ON. Rotate the ON/OFF Volume control clockwise until you hear the cliyk. A channel number should appear in the LCD Display. UP DOWN 2.
