The CS-228 KVM Switch is a control unit that allows two independent keyboard, mouse, and monitor Consoles to access eight computers, either independently or on a multiuser shared basis, in a convenient, cost effective manner. A Master View CS-228 unit can control up to 8 PCs. 1. Make sure that power to all the devices you will be connecting up have been turned off. You must unplug the power cords of any computers that have the Keyboard Power On function. Otherwise, the switch will receive power from the computer. 2. F2 EDIT: This is an Administrator function. To help remember which computer is attached to a particular port, every port can be given a name.
