Purpose of This Manual This manual describes the procedure for controling the HSR-1/1P Digital Surveillance Recorder using the RS-232C from an external computer, etc. The RS-232C is the EIA standard for the interface of the communication via a modem between data terminal equipment. In this interface, data are transferred serially bit by bit. Since the RS-232C interface is employed in most computers as a standard interface, it can be used in a wide range of applications.
