Counter Display The scanner is provided with the counter display. Paper counter Abrasion counter Counter Function Paper counter Paper counter counts the scanned sheet from the start of reading to Paper Empty or an error detection. So this counter is automatically reset at the start of reading. Abrasion counter Abrasion counter counts the accumulated number of the scanned sheet. This counter increments at every 10 sheets. Operation status Operation status is indicated by the following message: Scanner displays followig screen when waiting Start button pressed. (Only M3097DE) When the Pick roller cleaning is necessary, the scanner displays as follows on the upper line. When the ADF glass cleaning is necessary, the scanner displays as follows on the LCD.
