Safety Kickback Hazard Kickback is the uncontrolled propelling of the workpiece back toward the user during rip- ping. The cause of kickback is the binding or pinching of the blade in the workpiece. Assembly Remove saw blade. 1. Tighten carriage lock knob, located on rightside ofarm. 2. Loosen guard clamp screw approximately 4 turns. Rotate dust elbow so opening is fac- ing left.
