Installing the Printer 1. Installing the Printer 1. Place the printer on a level surface. 2. To install the keyboard on top of the printer: a. Remove the cord from the base of the keyboard. b. Plug the cord from the keyboard into the socket. c. Insert all of the cord except a few coils back into the base. Secure the cord by sliding a coil into the slot in the base. d. Hold down the lower supply guide and rewind the old supply roll, if there is one. 4. Release the lower supply guide. CAUTION If you run out of supply while printing, pull the supply strip back through the printer. DO NOT pull it forward through the printhead. Pulling it forward may cause jamming. 2-2
