This guide does not replace the ARRIFLEX 416 User’s Guide (K5.40077.0). It is essential that you acquaint yourself with the user’s guide before operating the equipment. Power On, Camera RUN, Inching, Camera Display Turning Camera Power On The Power On button for the ARRIFLEX 416 is located above the RUN button on the camera right side. To turn the camera On, briefly press the Power On button. When a battery is connected to the camera and the power switch is turned on, you should see characters appear on the Display on the camera left side. Note: The camera remembers the status of the Power On button and restores this status after a power interruption. PHASE

Loading the 416 Magazine Note: The 416 magazine has its feed and take-up chambers on opposite sides to the SR 1, 2 & 3 magazines. Changing Fps & Shutter Angle The NORM and PS/CCU buttons above the display select between preset Standard Speeds and user adjustable Programmable Speeds. Beeper, Backlight & RGB ARRIGLOW Beeper The 416 is equipped with a beeper which can sound when the camera is started or stopped. The upper line of display mode 6 allows the user to decide whether and when the beeper sounds and how loud (LS is shown for ‘loudspeaker’). The left-hand bar shows the status of the start beep.
