1-2 CHAPTER 1: BRIDGE/ROUTER MODULE Typically, the Bridge/Router module is used to interconnect LANs running protocols such as Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) or Novell Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX).
