2. Introduction This product is a PROM programming adapter for 8-bit microcomputers of 7200 Series. The adapter is a tool that can be used to write a program into internal ROM of microcomputers using a commercially available PROM programmer. This manual describes the specifications and operational procedures of PCA7429G02. Figure 2.1 shows the external view of the PCA7429G02 and its constituent parts. 4. How to Write the Program This chapter describes procedures you need to follow when writing a program. For details on how to operate the PROM programmer, refer to the user's manual included with the PROM programmer. 4.1 Programming Procedure Follow procedures (1) to (8) to write a program. 4.2 Attaching Adapter to PROM Programmer As shown in Figure 4.1, attach the adapter's bottom board (PCA7402E) to the IC socket of PROM programmer, with the pin No. 1 of the adapter matched to the pin No. 1 of the IC socket .
