Operation Setting the Squelch 1. To turn the unit ON, rotate VOLUME clockwise. Adjust volume to a comfortable level. Voice Scrambler UH-100 has a built-in scrambler / de-scrambler circuit. The Voice Scrambler feature prevents users, without the necessary descrambler equipment, "understanding" your conversation.
