INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK Note: Because the battery pack is provided uncharged, you must charge the battery pack before using it with the transceiver. SELECTING A FREQUENCY VFO MODE This is the basic mode for changing the operating frequency. Rotate the ENC control clockwise to increase the frequency and counterclockwise to decrease the frequency. DIRECT FREQUENCY ENTRY In addition to rotating the ENC control, there is another way to select the frequency.
