3. STEERING MODES The NAVpilot-500 system is capable of five primary steering modes: STBY (manual), AUTO, NAV, REMOTE (FU and NFU) and DODGE. In case of emergency, for example, collision avoidance, turn the helm quickly to control the boat manually. The alarm sounds and “STBY” flashes on the display.
