Completing Installation All that’s left to do is attach power to the system, and to mount the indoor and outdoor units on the brackets which have already been placed. Operating the Intercom Operating the Video Intercom is quite straightforward - doubly so for a visitor - they need only worry about pressing the one button on the outdoor unit! Here’s a rundown of all the buttons on the interior unit and what they do. Monitor On/Off: Turns the monitor On or Off. Press once to turn on, and again to turn off. Troubleshooting Problem: I hear crackling/hissing or the audio/video is faint or distorted.
