10 MOUNTING YOUR DEVICE Your SPOTTER GPS Navigator can be easily secured to either the windshield or the dashboard for optimal viewing while driving. The mounting system consists of the following pieces: Adjustable arm with suction cup SPOTTER cradle Dash disk with adhesive backing ATTACHING THE MOUNT 1. 15 GPS START UP The SPOTTER GPS Navigator has an integrated GPS receiver. The first time you use the GPS receiver it may take up to 10 minutes to initialize. 16 FIRST TRIP SELECTING A DESTINATION The SPOTTER uses GPS satellites to calculate your exact position so you don‟t have to enter your starting point.
