GETTING STARTED INSERTING THE BATTERY Remove the battery cap with a coin by rotating the cap counter clockwise and insert a 3-volt lithium battery into the compartment positive end first, then replace the battery cap. NOTE: It is recommended that the battery be replaced at least once every 12 months.
