1. NAMES AND FUNCTIONS 1.1 FRONT PANEL [FADER SECTION] 1. VOLUME Fader The VOLUME fader controls the master volume level of the MP8II. 2. 2. Basic Operations 2.1 Getting Ready Since the MP8II has no built-in speakers, you will need to connect a mixer, keyboard amplifier or headphones in order to listen. Turn the MP8II on, using the POWER SWITCH on the rear panel. It is recommended to turn the MP8II on before turning on any amplifiers in order to avoid switching noise. 2.2 Selecting a Sound The MP8II always starts up in SOUND mode when the power is turned ON. The SOUND button will be lit to indicate SOUND mode is active.
