POWER SUPPLY Battery 1. Open the battery compartment lid. 2. Install two “AAA” batteries (not supplied). Observe proper polar- ity. Battery indicator ( ) The line of rectangles is the battery gauge. Black rectangles show the bat- tery condition while the unit is operating. : Full, good condition (“LOW BATT” appears.): Weak or exhausted batteries, must be re- placed. CAUTION: Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a month or longer. IMPORTANT NOTE: SPENT OR DISCHARGED BATTERIES

SELECTING THE FOLDER AND MENU Selecting the folder Press the MENU/FOLDER button briefly in the stop mode. Each time the button is pressed, the display changes as follows: FOLDER BUSI (Business) MENU/FOLDER LECT (Lecture) OTHERS (Others) ALARM (Alarm) Note: After few seconds, it returns to the stand-by mode on the selected folder display.
