Trim ring STEP 4: Installing The Auto Latch Lock Locate the auto latch striker plates over the pre-punched holes in the Rim plate vertical track nearest the center of the lock section. Fasten the striker (4) #8 x 1/2” cylinder plates to the vertical track using (2) 1/4” - 20 x 9/16” track bolts and Pan head Center stile flanged hex nuts. Align the auto latch flippers such that the arm will screws engage the striker plates. Position the auto latch flipper 1/8” from the edge of the section
